PRICING

Know the Price Before Any Work Begins
When it comes to Air Conditioner repair cost, no one likes surprises. That is why we send a trained HVAC technician to your home to evaluate your situation. The price you receive is in writing, has no hidden fees and is guaranteed not to change as long as the work you want done on your air conditioning system doesn't change.

A certified HVAC technician will come to your home to look at what work is being performed and where. Our first priority is to fully understand what you want done so we can show you different options.

Because every situation is unique, we insist that an HVAC technician see the job before a price is given so there are no crucial details missed. If there is a way to save you money on your air conditioning project, we want to find it before giving you a price.

Since every situation is different, we don't have ballpark pricing we can give out over the phone, but our techs are able to quote you a price once they have evaluated the situation. They will give you a straight forward price with all your options BEFORE any work begins. Once you agree to the service and the price, our techs have the necessary tools and parts in their vehicles and can start working immediately if you so choose.

Question we need Any Hour to Answer: When do and don't they charge dispatch fees. It looks like different services have different dispatch fees and in some cases none is charged

Instead of having an hourly rate, we have what is called a dispatch fee. Which is the cost for one of our technicians to come out to your home, take a look at the problem and go over prices and options with you as far as repairs. Our normal dispatch fee in our drains/ plumbing/ solar/ HVAC department is $X.

Question we need Any Hour to Answer: When does the dispatch fee count towards the service?

We do charge a slightly higher rate for service calls after 5:00 p.m.

Yes. You can apply online by visiting our finance page.

We believe in getting the job done right. If a technician is sent as a call back we will gladly waive the dispatch fee for you.

No. We understand that things come up. Just give us a call whenever you're ready.

It only cost $59 to get a certified HVAC technician to your home to diagnose and troubleshoot your air conditioner. The will find out why your air conditioner is not working and then give you options to repair it. Below you'll find an internet special for $30 OFF.

They will arrive in a truck stocked with all the parts and tools to start your repair while still at your home, unless the situation is unusual. Once you approve the work, your HVAC technician will begin. Most of the time your air conditioner repair is completed the same day we arrive.

Our air conditioner tune-up is only $99. Below you'll find an internet special for $70 OFF.

An air conditioner tune-up includes all the maintenance and inspection items the manufacturers recommend. A certified tune-up technician will go through your system and make sure all of the vital components are working and that your system is running efficiently. They will leave you a full written report with their recommendations and answer any questions you have.

There are several large air conditioning projects that we are willing to show you what options are available and the visit doesn't cost you anything; replacing your air conditioner, adding an air conditioner to a furnace only system, reconfiguring your ductwork, installing a ductless mini split system, etc. This is not a complete list so call us if you have questions about your project.

I have asked our HVAC supervisors to give me ballpark prices in the past and they usually answer with a long list of questions that need to be answered before being able to give a price. Until our HVAC technician sees your existing air conditioner, they won't give a ballpark price.

Most ballpark prices are a guess. Another company might give a range that they hope will cover the cost to do the job. And most of the time they have to come back and ask for more money. Our experience has shown that a ballpark price is usually not in anyone's best interest.

The prices you are quoted come out of our pricing guide. We have looked at the most common tasks we are asked to perform and figured out the average time to perform the task, cost of the materials and the cost associated with running a heating and air conditioning business that is able to stand behind that work.

To come up with the price to complete the work on your air conditioner, your HVAC technician will figure out the tasks needed to complete the work. Each task has a price associated with it. Your technician will add those tasks together to come up with your total. This method allows us to identify tasks that don't need to be performed on your project and save you money where we can.

This also allows us to be fair and transparent when pricing the work needing to be done on your air conditioner. What I mean by fair and transparent is, the cost to perform the work should have nothing to do with how nice a neighborhood someone lives in. When designing our pricing guide, we asked ourselves, "what does it take to perform this task" NOT "how much can we get a person to pay".

When you charge by the hour, you can't give a price until after the job is finished. And we don't want you to have to wait till the end of the job to find out how much it cost.

We believe there are too many variables that make "charging by the hour" more of a win for the company, not the homeowner. If an HVAC technician has to go get a part, is slower than another technician, the job takes longer than expected, etc. -- are all things that a homeowner has no control over but ends up paying the price for. There's no accountability on the HVAC company to have their trucks stocked better, train their plumbers better or run their business more efficiently.

There are many other reasons but they all revolve around us trying to do right by everyone involved; the homeowner, the HVAC technician, and the company.

It is rare to find 2 air conditioning contractors that charge the same price. Without digging into the details of your specific air conditioning project, it is hard to know exactly why. Our prices are based on what it takes to do the job, not what another company charges.

Most HVAC service/construction companies are started by an HVAC technician that is trained to be a technician, learning the HVAC trade. They are not trained in how to run a business. This is why so many heating and cooling companies come and go.

Most of the heating and air conditioning companies that have been around for a long time were started by an HVAC technician that happened to be good at business too. This is also why you see so many air conditioning companies spring up during a good economy, most of them a one-man band. Unfortunately, they have to close their doors when there is an economic downturn.

There are so many little things that go into running a business that is there when you need them, not only today but for years to come. All of those costs have to be taken into consideration when pricing your goods and services. A lot of HVAC companies don't take into account all of the expenses associated with doing the job and they do the best they can come up with a price, sometimes it is a bit of a guess. They can be higher or lower than another company's price. This could be one explanation of why our price is different than theirs.

Replacing an air conditioner is one of those projects that an HVAC technician needs to see before quoting a price. The issue we run into is many air conditioners are sized incorrectly. A proper load calculation or heat gain was never run for the home, a basement has been added, or the home has been remodeled.

If you need your air conditioner replaced, one of our certified HVAC supervisors can come to your home and quote you a price after inspecting your existing cooling system. This visit is free. Call to schedule an appointment.

You will pay a little more to get an HVAC technician to your home after hours but they do not charge more for the work you want them to perform. Our prices come directly from our pricing guide. We do not have a different set of prices for doing work in the evenings or on weekends. The price for working on your air conditioner will be the same regardless of the time of day.

No, our HVAC technicians run calls on Saturdays and charge the same price as they would any other day of the week. We do not have a different set of prices for working on your air conditioning on Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays.

No, as long as you live in our service area, our HVAC technicians can come to your home and help. We service homes from North Ogden, South to Nephi. West from the Tooele/Grantsville area, east to the Park City Heber area. Here is a full list of Utah Cities we service.

No, our HVAC technicians don't quote a price until they have seen your air conditioning project. Once they quote a price, it doesn't change, no matter how long it takes. At any time you want to add more tasks to your project, your HVAC technician will let you know how much it would cost to perform the extra work.

Yes, in addition to our coupons, we offer senior discounts and military discounts. You can receive 5% off or any special promotions we may be running, whichever is greater. You can ask your HVAC technician to show you your savings.

You can pay for the HVAC work you had done with cash, check, or any major credit card. We collect, in full, upon completion of the project. If you would like to make monthly payments, we do have many financing options available through 3rd party finance companies, OAC. Your technician can talk to you about your options when they give you pricing options for the HVAC work you want completed.
